Local Man Facing Child Pornography Charges Headed To Trial

Westley Geul of Pinckney is facing 22 felony charges including possession of child sexually abusive material, child abusive commercial activity, using a computer to commit a crime, and promoting or distributing child sexually abusive material.

Freedom, Unity Represented In World War II Memorial

The memorial consists of a wall of stars honoring the American soldiers killed, 56 pillars representing the districts, territories and states as they came into the Union, and pavilions recognizing The Pacific Theater and The Battle of the Atlantic.

War Memorial Display Now Open For Public Viewing

The display includes a replica of the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C., the Korean War Memorial with 23 full-size statues, the Michigan Vietnam Traveling Wall, and the Eyes of Freedom Traveling Memorial from the Iraq War.

Hartland Township officials have approved design engineering agreements with the Livingston County Road Commission for the projects that will eventually reconstruct portions of Pleasant Valley Road and Bergin Road.

Trustee Allen Pool’s last day on the township Board of Trustees was Wednesday, July 3rd. In a letter dated June 26th, Pool said he was relocating to the Battle Creek area after accepting a new position there.

Plans Approved For Masonite Industrial Building

The company owns property located on Sterling Drive which is off of Dorr Road in Genoa Township, and plans to build a 59,400-square-foot facility to “accommodate expansion space needed to meet industry demand”.
