Friday night showcased the 4th and final round of the 2021-2022 heavyweight fight between Howell and Hartland in girls basketball, and it was Hartland taking the victory for a third straight time this season (45-36) to win not only their 6th straight District Championship, but their 11th since 2010.

Before the game however, Ryan Wooley had a chance to sit down with Eagles head coach Don Palmer and Highlanders head coach Tim Olszewski to talk about the season, their rivalry, and how hard it is to prepare for a team you've already faced three times in a year.
