After losing 10 of their first 11 games this season, Fowlerville's baseball team took two from Mason Tuesday. In the first game, Brendan Young went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and James Anderson tossed a five-hitter as the Gladiators won 9-1. In the nightcap, Taiton Eastwood singled home Ryan Dixon with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh as Fowlerville won 3-2.

In softball, Fowlerville also took two from Mason. In the opener, Halle Dargie struck out 13 and allowed only three hits as the Gladiators won 5-0. In the nightcap, Fowlerville took an 8-0 lead after two innings en route to a 10- win. Carlie Atcheson allowed just two hits and struck out nine. She also had two hits and drove in two runs. Hartland took a pair from Brighton. Rachel Everett threw a no-hitter in the opener, striking out 12, while Kelsey Zempa was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs as the Eagles won 7-0. In the nightcap, Delaney Robeson homered twice and Faith DeLanoy also homered in a 9-0 win. Kyle Swierkos threw a one-hitter for Hartland, striking out seven.

In track, Brighton boy’s track team beat Canton 77-60. Harrison Sumner led the way for the Bulldogs, winning the long jump and the high jump. Hat Hartland, the host Eagle swept Howell. The boys won 91-45, while the girls won 85.17 to 51.83. For the Hartland boys, Alexander Yon won the 200 and the 400, Sam Kromberg took the 800 and 1,600, Evan Lockridge won both hurdles and Timothy Fortier took the high jump and the long jump. Jackson Dukes won the shot put and discus for Howell. The Hartland girls were paced by Sydney Caddell, who won the 100 and the long jump, while Emmy Sergeant won the 200 and 400 and Kaitlyn Pennala won both hurdles. Howell was led by Mackenzie Wright, who won the 1,600 and 3,200, and Lily Daugard who won the shot-put and discus.
