As the Bulldogs prepare for their state championship run this weekend at Ford Field, their Head Coach Brian Lemons has been nominated for the 2019 Detroit Lions High School Football Coach of the Year Award.

Public voting is part of the process and you’ll find a link to do that below. The public can vote until Saturday at 11:59 p.m. The Coach of the Year winner will be hosted and recognized at the December 15th Lions vs. Buccaneers game and presented with a $4,000 donation to the high school football program and a nomination for the Don Shula NFL High School Football Coach of the Year Award.

If chosen for the Don Shula award, that coach will receive a $10k contribution and a $15k grant for his football program while finalists receive $2500 cash rewards and $5k football program grants.
