Aaron Jack

Aaron grew up in Waterford, Michigan, and has been obsessed with radio ever since he can remember. He built his first transmitter and antenna when he was 10 and started his very own low-power, FM radio station. It broadcasted a whopping 1/4 mile radius and played “Waterford’s Classic Hits”. Aaron has always had an old soul and has a particular love of music from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.

After high school, Aaron graduated from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and began pursuing his goal of being on air. His first radio gig was hosting his very own drive-time show, “The Double A Revolving Door Show” every weeknight on WPON-AM from 2022 through early 2024.

It was a mix of awesome oldies music, funny stories, and whatever else his wild imagination cooked up. Now he is thrilled to be a member of the WHMI on-air team and is truly living out his dream.

Aaron still lives in Waterford with his two cats, Milo and Abby, and two dogs, Ted and Lilly. When he’s not on the air, Aaron loves going to concerts, listening to music, playing his vintage video game collection, and practicing on his electric guitars and bass just in case Jeff Lynne calls and asks him to join ELO.
