DETROIT — Detroit transportation officials cancelled Tuesday’s bus service after most drivers didn't report to work. The drivers are apparently concerned about the spread of the coronavirus and whether Michigan's new restrictions on gatherings includes buses loaded with commuters. The Detroit Department of Transportation announced shortly after 8 a.m. that Tuesday’s bus service had been canceled. DDOT bus driver Schetrone Collier tells WDIV-TV that drivers have concerns about the coronavirus pandemic that are not being addressed. They are citing the Michigan governor’s order that disallows more than 50 people in a gathering at a time.
