Jurors continue to speak out in the days after a mistrial was declared for Massachusetts mom Lindsay Clancy in the strangling deaths of her three children, 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan.
The panel of nine women and three men deadlocked after splitting 11-1, but one woman, identified as Juror No. 5, told local media that the holdout at the end of deliberations wasn't the only one who initially thought Clancy was guilty.
Based on some of their statements, Clancy's defense attorney Kevin Reddington told jury foreperson, sat down for a televised interview with Clancy defense attorney Kevin Reddington's request to have the holdout juror removed.
The trial centered on whether Clancy was criminally responsible for her actions at the time she strangled each of them with exercise bands in 2023, and the defense argued she wasn't due to postpartum psychosis.
