A man is dead after a brutal bull-riding incident where he was thrown off the animal then stomped on at a rodeo.
It happened at the Fox Hollow Rodeo in Waynesville, Ohio on Saturday evening.
Police say Justin "Blake" Saylor, 35, who was wearing a protective vest, "suffered a traumatic chest injury" as a result of the incident and was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to FOX 19 Cincinnati.
Following the tragedy, Fox Hollow Rodeo said in a post, "There are no words to express the sadness we are feeling. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy."
A woman named Lindsay Marie, who appears to be his girlfriend, said in a post in part, "Knowing you've always said that when it's your time to go you hope it's doing what you love the most, riding bulls! I just wish I could hold you one last time and tell you how much I love you."
A few months before his death, Saylor claimed to have suffered a broken collarbone following a bull-riding incident at another rodeo event.
He made a post on social media showing a picture of a fractured collarbone and some photos of him on the ground inside the ring.
Police are investigating the incident as an accidental death.
