Two men have been arrested in connection to recent house shootings in Washtenaw County.

A 21-year-old Ypsilanti man and a 22-year-old Bellville man were taken into custody on Sunday, following another shooting on the 8000 block of Talladay Road Sunday evening, according to the Michigan State Police.

A semi-automatic rifle and fired bullet casings that authorities say were consistent with the shootings were recovered during the arrests.

Both suspects reportedly confessed to participating in the recent random shootings. They are both currently being held at the Washtenaw County Jail pending arraignment.

The MSP Emergency Support Team executed high-risk search warrants at "involved residences."

MSP and the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said they were "aided by tremendous cooperation from the community where the shootings took place."

Authorities don't believe anyone else is involved at this time.
