Multiple agencies in Livingston County continue to search for an 85-year-old man reported missing in Oceola Township Saturday evening.

The sister of Jerry Spaulding told police her brother had went for a walk into the woods at approximately 4:45 pm and did not return home.

According to a release, deputies searched the 40 acre parcel near Argentine and Brophy Roads through the night on foot and with drones and were unable to locate Spaulding.

By Sunday morning, the Sheriff's office requested search and rescue teams from the Oakland County Sheriff's office and the Lapeer County Search and Rescue team who responded to the scene.

The search and rescue teams expanded the search and searched several hundred acres around the residence with numerous dogs and ATVs. The search lasted to the evening hours and Spaulding still was not located.

Spaulding was last seen leaving his residence wearing a red and green western style shirt, blue jeans and work boots. If anyone has seen him, or has information on his whereabouts, the sheriff's office is asking to please call (517)546-9111.

The Sheriff's office was assisted on scene by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue, The Lapeer County Search and Rescue, Hartland Area Fire and Livingston County DART.
