A 26-year-old Oxford woman was killed in a head-on crash Saturday night in Brandon Township.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred on Baldwin Road, near Seymour Lake Road, at around 11:40 p.m. Saturday.

The sheriff's office reported the unidentified woman was driving a Chevrolet HHR south in the northbound lane of Baldwin Road when she crashed head-on into a 2007 Hummer H3 driven by a 16-year-old boy from Clarkston.

The woman, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to an area hospital, where she later died as the result of her injuries.

The teen driver, who was wearing his seatbelt, was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
