Oakland County Sheriff's Office reports a man's body was discovered Monday morning near Proud Lake on Wixom Road in Commerce Township.

According to a release, deputies were notified just before 9 am by a park visitor, who spotted the body, believed to be a man in his 20s.

Further information will be released as the investigation proceeds, according to OCSO.
