***UPDATE - OCSO reports emergency 911 voice and text messaging services are now fully operational.



Oakland County Sheriff' Office reported Thursday morning its Text to 911 service is currently down."

The Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center is working to restore service. Phone calls to 911 also went down for a brief time, but that service was restored as of 11:30 am.

In the interim, those seeking emergency aid should call (248) 858-4911.
