Heads up for any motorists and commuters - a new paving project starts up today on M-52, south of Adrian.

MDOT advises the paving project is on M-52 from US-223 to Weston Road in Lenawee County.

The project will require daily single-lane and shoulder closures – meaning motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly or find alternate routes.

It’s a somewhat lengthy project, with a target completion date of October 23rd.

Based on economic modeling, MDOT says the $2.8 million investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 24 jobs.
