Ingham Co. Sherriff's Office: Alaska Man Killed in Two-Car Crash

The Ingham County Sheriff's Office reports an 28-year-old man from Alaska was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.
According to a release, deputies were called to the scene off Perry Road (M-52) at Haslett around 3:30 pm.
A preliminary investigation revealed Brandon Teal attempted a westbound turn onto Haslett from northbound Perry, when he collided with a southbound vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Breckenridge resident.
Teal died at scene. His family has been notified.
The other driver and a 41-year-old passenger from Owosso were not injured.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash. Traffic was routed around the scene for a couple of hours during the investigation.
The crash is being investigated by the Ingham Regional Crash Investigated Team. Northeast Ingham Emergency Services Authority, Meridian Police Department, Williamston Police Department, Michigan State Police, Department of Natural Resources, and Michigan Department of Transportation assisted with managing this incident.
