Some road work starting up Monday in Tyrone and Putnam Townships.

In Tyrone Township, a road rehabilitation project is scheduled on Hartland Road from Center Road to White Lake Road.

Hartland Road will remain open under flag control but heavy delays are expected and motorists are asked to consider an alternate route during construction.

That project is expected to wrap up July 3rd, before the holiday weekend, weather permitting.

In Putnam Township, surface gravel is being added to Pingree Road between Spears Road and M-36.

Pingree Road will be closed to thru-traffic. EMS vehicles will be able to access the road.

That project is expected to be completed this Thursday.
