Grab your helmet and check your tires, it’s time for Milford’s Bike Fest and Trail Challenge.

The all-day event will take riders across the Milford area, and officials said there are trails for everyone, from children and beginners to more experienced riders. There are five trails, gravel routes and paths, along with group rides and a bicycle scavenger hunt.

The Century Challenge is an endurance event organizers said is the “perfect low pressure way to get a pre-race tune up in.” It takes riders across 100.3 miles. There is no additional cost to register for it, participants just need to check “The Challenge” box when doing pre-registration. No day-of registrations will be accepted for The Challenge.

Milford Bike Fest group rides are open to all festival registrants. They will start from the expo area. The group ride schedule is:

9:15 - Milford and Proud Lake Grande Tour
9:30 - Intro to Highland Guided Ride
10:00 - Kids/Family Bike Scavenger Hunt
10:30 - Intro to Proud Lake MTB Ride
10:30 Girl’s Gone Dirt Women-Led Social Ride

The after party is being held at Main Street Grill and Tavern, located at 327 N. Main Street.

Discounted pre-registration closes at noon on Friday. Registration is $25 through the link below. Day of registration and packet pick-up will be at the corner of Main and Liberty streets from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. Late registration will be held at the tent outside Main Street Grill.

Free parking is available around the downtown area, but participants should avoid parking in any lots that are reserved for patrons of specific establishments. Officials said all parking ordinances will remain in effect.
