Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan will headline the next Good Morning Livingston event and share some lessons in leadership and civic innovation.

Duggan will serve as the keynote speaker at the event on Tuesday, June 17th with the theme of “Reviving a City, Reimagining Leadership”.

The program will explore Duggan’s journey from crisis management to civic innovation. A lifelong Detroiter, Duggan has led transformational efforts across the city - from overseeing major infrastructure developments like Comerica Park and Ford Field to turning around the Detroit Medical Center as CEO.

Since becoming Mayor in 2013 during Detroit’s historic bankruptcy crisis, Duggan has been credited with stabilizing the city and driving significant community-centered progress. His leadership has earned national recognition, including honors from Fortune Magazine and induction into the National Management Hall of Fame.

The special event is part of the Howell Area Chamber’s ongoing Good Morning Livingston series. It runs from 8am to 9:30am June 17th at Chemung Hills Golf & Banquet Center.

The Chamber says attendees will enjoy a full breakfast and coffee service while hearing firsthand insights from one of Michigan’s most impactful public leaders.
