A CSX railroad train continues to block traffic across parts of Genoa Township.

Livingston County Emergency Management advises that due to an incident on the RR Tracks at the Coon Lake Road crossing, just south of Chilson Road, Coon Lake will remain closed until later this evening.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternate travel route.

The area has been blocked since around 10am this morning.

WHMI has reached out to multiple agencies for comment but no information has been provided.
