Brighton Senior Center renewals are coming due for City residents.

At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, Manager Gretchen Gomolka reminded of the need to renew.

The Senior Center’s fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th.

Gomolka said anyone who signs up for the center in the months of May or June, that membership will rollover. She said now is also a good time to join if people haven’t already.

Membership is open to adults age 50 and older. The Center is located at 850 Spencer Road.

Brighton residents who live within the City limits can come to City Hall, bring their ID to confirm residency, and be provided a voucher to take to the center and have a basic membership covered.

Gomolka encouraged those eligible to get a voucher for renewal, or their first-time sign-up.
