Brighton's annual Holiday Glow and Christmas Market is Saturday. There will be photos with Santa, reindeer and elves, shopping downtown and train rides for the family.

The presenting sponsor is Cooper & Binkley Diamond Jewelers.

"We jumped in and have been presenting sponsors for a few years I'd say, and love it. We just absolutely love it. The families that come out. It's just such a heartwarming time," Barb Binkley told the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce podcast.

The Chamber's Jennifer Bond says there will be lots of family-friendly activities like a sneak peak of the Brighton Ballet's Nutcracker and other entertaintment at The Amp, and all throughout downtown Brighton.

"Our recreational authority is doing reindeer games, setting up obstacle courses for Santas in training right next to the Kobach Building," she said. "A new thing this year is the Brighton Library has an Inspo-lab in the back children's area, a makerspace allowing people to use a sewing machine or Cricket machine. They have button-making and a 3D printer."

Brighton's annual Holiday Glow and Christmas Market is scheduled from 1 pm until 7 pm Saturday. WHMI's Chuck and Madison will be there to welcome Santa before the lighting of downtown Brighton just before 6 pm.
