The Brighton District Library is hosting an out-of-this-world event on July 10.

Bill Konkolesky, State Director of the Michigan Chapter of the Mutual UFO Network and regular lecturer on UFO phenomenon, is presenting an in-depth look at the history of UFO sightings in Michigan.

“Michigan has some of the biggest UFO cases on record,” the press release about the event said. “The 1966 sightings over Southeast Michigan and the 1994 sightings over Grand Rapids each had hundreds of eyewitnesses to them, including law enforcement and radar returns.”

Konkolesky is the author of “Experience 2: Two Worlds Collide,” a book about an “abduction he experienced in his twenties.” He has consulted or appeared in UFO documentaries on multiple channels, including National Geographic, History Channel and Netflix, along with contributing to books, magazines and websites about the topic.

UFOs Over Michigan is from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. To register, call 810-229-6571 or visit the link below.
