Livingston County Veteran Services is hosting an open house next week to celebrate the nation's independence leading up to the 4th of July holiday and the selfless service of veterans to the country.

Veterans and family members can stop by and tour the office, learn more about veteran benefits, and celebrate freedom next Monday, June 30th from 6am to 8pm.

Nationally Accredited Veteran Service Officers will be available. VA Ann Arbor medical staff will also be available, including a registered nurse care manager, and ready to process health screenings. VA eligibility personnel will be able to assist with enrollment and provide VA Healthcare ID’s.

WHMI 93-5 will be broadcasting live and veteran-owned food vendors, Shaka Cafe and 'Great Tasting Dogs' will be on site. Peacemakers is donating a $600 gift basket to be given away (free drawing for those who have not previously visited LCVS, must possess DD214 to enter).

Livingston County Veteran Services is located at 1420 Lawson Drive next to the Secretary of State in Genoa Township.
