Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Ingham Co.

The Ingham County Sheriff's Office reports a 62-year-old Leslie man was critically injured when he crashed his motorcycle into another vehicle Thursday evening in Vevay Township.
According a release, deputies responded to the area of Hull Road and Coy Road around 7 pm.
A preliminary investigation revealed a vehicle, driven by an 86-year-old Mason man, was traveling south on Hull, turning left into a private drive when he was struck by the northbound motorcycle.
The unidentified motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital by ambulance for critical injuries. He was not wearing a helmet, and according to witnesses, speed was a factor.
The Mason man was treated for minor injuries from airbag deployment.
The crash is being investigated by the Ingham Regional Crash Investigation Team. Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Kevin Stalzer at (517) 676-8444, ext. 1939.
