Cleary University’s 10th annual Big Cat Golf Classic will be held at Chemung Hills Golf Course in July.
The event, which is being held on July 18, supports the university’s athletic program and its athletes.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start scheduled at 9 a.m. Registration for a foursome is $600 and an individual golfer will pay $150 to register. The price includes 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast, lunch and dinner, two beverage tickets, prizes throughout the day and a silent auction.
All golfers will be entered into closest to the pin, longest drive and hole in one contests. They can also purchase 50/50 tickets.
The public is invited to participate. Officials said the format is a four-person scramble.
There are also openings for hole, clubhouse, beverage and presenting sponsors. Those interested in sponsorship opportunities should email mballinger@cleary.edu.
“Proceeds from this event support the rising expenses associated with Cleary’s growing athletic department and ensures student athletes have the necessary financial and academic services for success on and off the field,” Cleary’s Athletic Director Max Ballinger said. “For the last nine years, our community has been overwhelmingly generous in its support of the Big Cat Classic. Thanks to this support, we can provide the assistance our student athletes need.”
