Do you have documents you need shredded?

Lake Trust Credit Union is hosting a community shred event on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at their Ann Arbor Relationship Center, located at 2180 W. Stadium Blvd.

The public can bring any documents they want shredded, such as those containing sensitive financial, personal or medical information, to the event for free.

All shredded paper will be recycled following the event, making it more environmentally friendly than just throwing paper into landfills.

Only paper will be accepted. Syringes and sharp objects, food, glass, cans, ink cartridges and toners, metal objects, batteries and electrical items will not be accepted.
