Clinton Twp Man Killed in Rollover Crash on US 23

Green Oak Township Police report a 35-year-old man was killed when his commercial truck rolled over on southbound U.S. 23 around 6:38 am Wednesday.
It happened just south of Lee Road, within the active construction zone.
According to a release, first responders located the unidentified driver pinned inside the vehicle. Emergency personnel worked swiftly to extricate the individual and render medical aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the driver, from Clinton Township, lost control of the vehicle in the area where the traffic lanes shift.
The truck, typically used for roadway line painting, was not actively performing that function at the time of the crash.
The exact cause of the loss of control remains under investigation by the Livingston County Major Crash Team.
