No decision yet on a proposed expansion of a large manufactured home community in Tyrone Township. Trustees on Tuesday again heard from residents and neighbors of Tyrone Woods off Hogan Road, most who oppose the expansion.

"Before they should be allowed to expand, they should fix a lot of the issues that we are all going through," said one woman. "They don't fix the roads. There's no plans for a playground. The bus stops are not safe. They don't have one. My kids have almost been run over a few times now."

"There's no place for us to park. We get lots of fines. And a lot of times when they do work on our houses, they charge us for it."

Attorney Alan Greene represents the owners of Tyrone Woods. He fielded questions on everything from plumbing and sewer concerns, to maintenance and traffic congestion.

"No, we're not going to put in another curb cut," he responded to questions about plans to increase capacity by nearly 300 homes, without added another entrance.

"I'm not the traffic engineer. I'm only telling you what the traffic engineers say, and they're very experienced," Green added.

Tyrone trustees previously sought public input before deciding whether to amend a consent decree last updated in 2013, that would allow the expansion.

Greene disputed that move, saying an amendment is not needed for a preliminary site plan.

Ultimately, no action was taken on Tyrone Woods' request, and no timetable was given.
