The Hartland Lions Club is announcing a community blood drive, set for mid- November.

The blood drive for The American Red Cross takes place November 17th at the Cromaine District Library from 11am to 4:30pm. Donors of all blood types are needed…especially those with O negative, B negative, and A negative.

According to the Red Cross, type O negative is the universal blood type that can be safely transfused to anyone…and is often used to treat trauma patients.

The Hartland Lions Club is a local chapter of the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries. Cromaine Cares is an initiative of the Cromaine District Library, connecting library patrons with meaningful ways to impact their community.
