The community is invited to a ceremony tonight honoring the memory of lost lives and sacrifices made on September 11th, 2001.

The annual event starts at 7pm and is hosted by the Brighton Area Fire Authority. The ceremony will include speeches from local dignitaries, the laying of the wreath, and honoring of fallen heroes and lives lost.

The ceremony will be held at 615 W. Grand River, Fire Station 31, at the 9/11 memorial in front of the fire station.

Parking is available at local community lots in the area.
