A group of accomplished women will be inducted into the Brighton Area Women's History Roll of Honor during a special ceremony.

The following women are the latest to join the 108 women and eight Athletic Championship Honorees into the Roll of Honor: Sandra Bates, Dolores Johnson, Ann King-Hudson, Ruth Munzel and Susan Rosebrough.

An original Brighton District Library board member, a longtime paid soccer referee, a proponent of environmental concerns, a mentor/occupational educator that established a model career center for local students, and a third-generation community musician and volunteer are some of the accomplishments of these women.

The ceremony will take place this Saturday at 2pm at the Brighton District Library’s main reading room. All family, friends and community members are invited to celebrate.
