An intersection closure starts today as part of the ongoing East Huron Street project in the Village of Milford.

Concrete work on Huron Street and South Houghton Street is said to be nearly complete.

The Village advises that the intersection of Huron Street and River Drive is getting rebuilt. The first closure of the intersection is scheduled to start today and last roughly three days. The second closure is scheduled for the week of June 27th.

Huron Street will also have an aggregate base placed this week in preparation for asphalt paving.

Huron Street remains closed to thru traffic for the duration of the project.

Meanwhile, a virtual meeting has been scheduled for the 2022 residential street paving project. That includes the roads in the Milford Bluffs and Milford Heights subdivisions. Residents in those neighborhoods are encouraged to attend.
