Job Details: Primiary location City of South Lyone. Department: Dept of Public works. Job Status: Full time hourly, non-exemp,
AFSCME Union Position Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Starting pay: Base $20.26 with annual increases on a 5-year scale up to $28.97 Double time on Sundays and select Holidays
Special Experience & Education: High School Diploma or GED Clean and Valid Driver's license Must be legally able to work in U.S. Current and valid State of Michigan CDL (b) Driver License (Air Brake Endorsement ) preferred
Job Responsibilities: Operation aned maintenance of wide variety of equipment (bakhoes, dump trucks, snow plows, tractors, lawn mowers etc). Employee will be responsible for street maintenance, building maintenance and general construction including park and trail maintenance and landscaping for a variety of city owned properties. Employees must be able to work rotating on-call schedule and be physically able to perform all job duties. Scheduled and call-in overtime available.
