WHMI General Contest Rules

Contestants must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise noted.
Employees of WHMI, participating sponsors, promotional partners, other radio stations heard in the Livingston County area, and members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
Prizes must be picked up within 30 days of winning or forfeited.
WHMI is under no obligation to mail or deliver prizes.
WHMI is not responsible for mailed prizes that are lost or damaged during delivery.
For promotions including prize delivery, WHMI may define a limited delivery area.
Prizes valued over $600.00 may only be won every 6 months.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
Any local, state, and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
If the value of the prize is $600.00 or more, the winner will be required to sign a release form acknowledging tax liability.
If the value of the prize is $600.00 or more, the winner will receive a FORM 1099 for that amount for the same year the prize(s) or cash was received.
WHMI expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind regarding prize(s), and prize(s) is/are to be accepted "as-is".
Winner acknowledges that WHMI staff shall have the right to publicize their name, likeness, and voice to promote their participation in the contest.
Failure to comply with contest rules will result in disqualification.
WHMI reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time.
